CEO and founder Rich Lee’s business acumen and strategic vision has helped Hosted Solutions to flourish amidst the most challenging conditions. Back in 2001, Lee took the bold decision of forming Hosted Solutions after acquiring the assets of bankrupt data center provider. Over the next five years, Lee went on to grow the business in a very strategic, methodical way, acquiring four more data centers and generating annual revenue of $37 million by mid-2008.
Lee leveraged the entry of new technologies like cloud computing in late 2008, and invented “Stratus Trusted Cloud”, the industry’s first “trusted” cloud option. Later that year he again introduced a new hybrid option of Stratus, providing customers with further options for cloud computing solutions, thereby positioning Hosted Solutions as a market leader in the cloud space.
One of Lee’s major accomplishments has been the $144M acquisition of Hosted Solutons by ABRY Partners that has further expanded the scope of its growth.
