As CFO of ILS for the past 10 years, Barbara Vinesett brings more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience to her financial role with the multidisciplinary research organization that supports both federal and commercial clients in the environmental and health sciences. Vinesett handles the resource allocation for ILS, in addition to leading efforts to procure commercial financing for the company’s operations and working with the board of trustees to establish long-term goals and strategies for the company’s continued financial and commercial success. Vinesett has the distinction of having an impeccable record of no cost overruns and no disputes with the IRS during her 15-year tenure with ILS. Vinesett is a CPA and holds a BS degree in accounting from Greensboro College.
